History

The office of Lauchlin R. Bethune Associates, Inc. ASLA, was established to provide clients with innovative design concepts that serve their program needs and create value in their landscape built environment.  The client receives maximum input and involvement in their project through a series of checks and balances.  This assures an informed client with a thorough understanding of the project direction from the preliminary schematic design to the final construction inspection.

Lauchlin Bethune, Principal, has over twenty five years of experience in the landscape industry with extensive experience in design firms, design-build firms, environmental firms and public sector work.  Landscape design and planning work includes urban and suburban office parks, industrial and mixed-use complexes, single and multi-family developments, commercial and residential entry monuments, schools and institutions, parks and play fields, greenbelt enhancement and wetland mitigation projects.  This experience in the landscape industry provides for a better understandings of the landscape restrictions, codes and requirements in Pierce, Snohomish and King Counties.  Lauchlin R. Bethune's project management skills have proven effective for a smooth transition in projects from the design concept to the finished product.
